Matchstick is in active early-stage development. This project was initiated on September 25, 2025, and is currently less than two weeks old. These terms are preliminary and will be substantially updated as the platform evolves.

Matchstick is currently in pre-alpha/alpha development. By using this software, you acknowledge that:
- The software is provided for testing and development purposes
- Features may change, break, or be removed without notice
- No warranties or guarantees are made about functionality or reliability
- This is not production-ready software
Use at Your Own Risk
Trading and financial software carries inherent risks. You acknowledge that:
- You are solely responsible for any trading decisions made using Matchstick
- Matchstick is provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind
- The developers are not liable for any financial losses incurred
- You should never trade with funds you cannot afford to lose
User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use Matchstick in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Not use the software for illegal activities or market manipulation
- Secure your own API keys, credentials, and trading accounts
- Not attempt to disrupt or compromise the Matchstick infrastructure
Intellectual Property
- Matchstick is open-source software (license TBD)
- The Matchstick name and branding are property of the project maintainers
- User-created trading strategies remain your intellectual property
Changes to Terms
These terms will evolve significantly as the project matures. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of Matchstick constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
