Product overview

Deterministic market replay, in the browser.

Matchstick Replay lets you step through a recorded trading session event by event and inspect the exact order-book state at any point. No install and no data-vendor dependency. The public demo needs no account; the app is invite-only.

The problem

Market data is ephemeral. Every order-book update replaces the last one. When a trader, researcher, or compliance analyst needs to know what the book looked like at a specific moment — at a fill, a flash crash, an FOMC release — the state is already gone.

Who it's for

Algo traders who write strategies and need to verify what the order book actually looked like at a backtest fill — not a simulated approximation, but the real recorded state, reconstructed deterministically, with source provenance.
